Welcome to Boston
Interesting historical fact: There was a deadly molasses flood in Boston in 1919 after 2 million gallons of it flooded the streets.
Recommendations: Visit the Boston Public Library, walk the Freedom Trail, taste historic teas at the Boston Tea Party Museum, read about the history and restoration of the steeple at Old North Church, try a Boston Cream donut from Mike’s Pastry (although they are known for their cannoli), and if you imbibe go to the Bell in Hand Tavern for a Sam Adams beer you can only get there.

Why Ignite Travel?
We’re a small, bespoke tour operator run by travelers with 20 years of experience in both domestic and international travel and working with young people. No group is too small and we can tailor our itineraries to your group’s needs.
Our mission is to disrupt the teen travel industry by breaking down barriers to travel for young people historically marginalized from travel experiences (based on economic status, cultural and societal norms or based on their race, ethnicity, gender identity or sexual orientation) and to create a community of like-minded adults to support that mission.

The Perfect Combination
We are passionate about a true travel experience. We blend the cultural and historical learning experience of a school trip with the fun activities and memory-making of a vacation to create a unique travel experience for everyone traveling with us.
We offer a unique travel journal for young people to identify and reflect on their experiences as well as the 40+ transferrable career and educational skills that travel offers.

Teen Reviews
“My favorite part of the trip with her was learning about the Tower of London and all of the history based there.” Brenna, 17
“I loved touring Paris with Shae especially when we went on the e-bikes in Paris!” Lachlan, 15
“Shae is always so fun and positive, and as a teen that’s always cool to have people like that on your team. I’m not one to feel comfortable with people I don’t know very well but I feel close to Shae. Overall, she’s just a great person and even when I get older I want to always have her in my life for advice, learning and fun.” Kiefer, 17
